Books to Prisons

As far as my quick research tonight goes, I can find no programs that accept book donations for New Jersey prisons. I have emailed the NJDOC to inquire.

Please do not throw away your old books! They may be needed in institutions around the United States. Please check to see if your books fit the criteria below and consider sending them in. There is a proven correlation between illiteracy and incarceration. Help diminish our country’s growing prison population through education.
